Corporate Diplomacy
A conflict in the board is not the end of the company
When partners stop talking to each other, business stands still. Decisions are not made, transfers wait for a signature, and employees start looking for new jobs. At Consilium Krasiński, we enter the game when emotions take over Excel. We are not textbook theorists. We sit at the table with you and look for a way out that allows the company to keep earning. In 2024, we conducted 14 such proceedings in the Lodz region. We tell it like it is: if there is no will to reach an agreement, we will say so after the second meeting, so you don't waste time and money.
Mediation instead of years in court
Economic cases in Lodz courts drag on for an average of 18–34 months. That is time your company probably doesn't have. Our method is hard facts, not promises. We focus on specifics: profit division, share structure, or exit terms. Usually, 4 meetings of 135 minutes each are enough to work out a settlement. Recently, in November 2024, we helped close a dispute in a transport company, where a conflict over the leasing of 6 cars had blocked the entire operation for half a year. We resolved it in 19 business days.
- Analysis of financial documents and the partnership agreement before the first meeting.
- Individual talks with each partner (usually lasting 55–75 minutes each).
- Joint negotiation session at our headquarters at 104 Piotrkowska St.
- Preparation of the final agreement, which the lawyers of both parties accept.
Hard numbers instead of emotions
Without legal jargon, we explain what will happen if the dispute is not resolved. We show the company's valuation today and a forecast for 7 months of paralysis. It often turns out that the difference is over 240,000 PLN in losses. This usually cools heads better than any pleas for agreement. Our team, where key decisions are made by Marek Krasiński, has 8 years of experience in difficult conversations. We don't promise it will be pleasant, but we promise we will focus on securing your assets. (Heads-up: mediation only works when both sides still want to avoid a bailiff).
When is it worth calling us?
It's best to call when the first attempt to reach an agreement over coffee has failed. Don't wait for a letter from the other side's lawyer. Early intervention allows some remnants of trust to be preserved. In December 2023, we saved a partnership in a small pharmaceutical wholesaler, where a dispute over a 4.7% margin led to a breakdown in contact between the founders. After two sessions with us, they returned to normal order planning. Remember: we guard your interests in conversations that seem to have no way out. Our office is open from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and on Fridays until 3:30 PM.
