Who actually guards your money?
Many advisory firms promise the moon, and when it comes to the meeting, they send a young employee who is just learning. At Consilium Krasiński, we act differently. If we take your case, we personally participate in every round of talks. Last year, in March, we helped a wholesaler owner from Lodz's Widzew district. The other side – a large concern with foreign capital – fielded six lawyers. There were two of us, but we knew each of the 42 points of the proposed contract by heart. That makes a difference when you need to react quickly to a change in terms.
14 hours of negotiations is standard for us
Most company sale transactions fall apart on details that no one has the strength to read after the sixth hour of sitting in a conference room. We do. During an audit for a small printing house in October 2023, we found a hidden provision about contractual penalties for logistical errors that the client had no control over. We saved about 18,500 PLN in potential monthly losses then. To be honest, most contracts we check have at least 3 logical errors that no one noticed before. We sit at the table with you until every comma is in its place.
We don't promise that the process will be short and pleasant. Negotiations with giants can be tiring and require nerves of steel. Our team consists of 5 people who have seen dozens of attempts to press smaller players since 2017. We tell it like it is: if the terms are unfavorable for you, we will tell you straight to your face, rather than forcefully closing the transaction for our own commission. Hard facts are more important to us than politeness over coffee.
Concrete plan instead of generalities
Our work starts with document analysis, which usually takes us from 4 to 9 business days. You won't get a thick binder of theory from us. We prepare a list of specific points to change. We calculate what pays off and where financial risk lurks. It has happened that we advised a client against selling shares when the valuation differed from the real value by more than 14%. We sit with you on one side of the barricade and are not afraid of difficult questions from the buyer's side.
We run the office at 104 Piotrkowska St in a specific way. We work from Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, but on Thursdays we often finish at 3:00 PM to close office administration.
